Under the authority of the brimhats, an elite group of government officers specialized in dispatching supernatural creatures, a dwarven investigator, Markus of Brittletack, and his commanding officer, Douglas, are sent to a castle deep within the forest to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances. Their target? A killer that can change his appearance at will. It all looks a little too familiar to Markus, who knows Douglas isn’t who he says he is. The isolated locale is a perfect place to seek dark revenge, just so is it to hunt your prey. Will they find the killer in time? or will ghosts from the past cloud their judgment? (After Draft2Digital instated a recurring fee for authors who make under $100 a year, I took it upon myself to delist my book from all marketplaces, and re-upload it for free on the internet. I felt like D2D's fees were absurd and unfair, even if it isn't a lot of money in the grand scheme of things. To be quite frank, my writing isn't profitable, it was never about the money in the first place. I have a full time job outside of art and writing after all. No, I wrote Memory Glass to prove to myself that I could write a book. I chose something small in scope and incredibly self indulgent to keep me motivated through the whole process, and it still took me around a year of constant writing and editing.
